We are off and running! Meeting with the IBM Johannesburg Team on Friday, August 8th, was phenomenal. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that August 9th is Women’s Day, in South Africa, so IBM invited a group of Women onsite on August 8th. Ndu and Sydney arranged to have the Smarter Cities team introduce themselves and provide a high level overview of the project. Also Flavia Mclean arranged a mentoring session, for the team, and I had the most delightful timing conversation with Nadia Cooper. Sydney, and the rest of the local IBM team, have been outstanding in supporting us and we are appreciative.
