The team left Lima, Peru for Trujillo, Peru by air and arrived in Trujillo around 2pm. There was a van waiting to transport the 6 of us and our luggage to Hotel Libertador in the middle of town. The hotel is right on the Plaza de Armas (the main square) across from the mayor’s office. It will take us all of 1 minute to cross the square to get to work. Talk about no commute:) The hotel is charming and comfortable. Great architecture. After we checked in and unpacked we rented a van drove around town a bit then and headed to dinner at Fiesta, a local Peruvian restaurant. We were exhausted at the end of it.
